Saying Goodbye – for now!

This week we are saying goodbye to our longest standing employee, Fain Storey. Fain has been intrinsic to every part of our farm for the past four years, half of the lifetime of Great Day Gardens! She has always brought a calm, sensible and positive atmosphere with her and we have been incredibly lucky to have her.  If you came to our farm store in Forest or down to the market on Saturdays you likely got to meet her and get a taste for her sweetness and sense of humor. In addition to a good attitude she is in incredibly hard worker and has been a super dependable person who we have relied on so much. We will miss her but are proud that she will be continuing with her passion for farming at nonprofit New Roots Community Farm in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Thanks Fain!!
