We’re Hiring! Part-time Farm Assistant Want to try your hand at farming? Already have experience and are looking to take your knowledge to the next level? We are seeking an energetic, reliable person who is interested in farm production to help us weekday mornings. This person will work alongside the crew to perform all farm tasks from planting, weeding, harvest, washing, flower arranging, and more. We request a commitment to the end of October. Must have a positive attitude and good communication skills. Being a morning person is a definite plus! Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend and squat and be generally fit. Must love plants, nature, dogs and toddlers and be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions. Hours are 7 am- noon Monday-Friday (25 hours per week). Don’t Forget to Compost! As the weather improves and plant production picks up, you may find yourself with more veggies than you can eat! While this is not a bad problem to have, we encourage all of our customers to save space at the landfill and instead partake in organic composting. Composting is not only great for the environment and saves space in your garbage can, it can save you money on your own garden at home.
