Ordering FAQ

When can I place my order?

Our online store is open 24/7, but we are updating the inventory by Sunday afternoon for Wednesday pickup, and by Wednesday afternoon for Saturday pickup. Supply is limited, and ordering at these times will ensure the maximum selection. Please do not order more than 3 days before pickup.

Are there products from other producers available for pre-order?

Yes, we partner with Restoration Acres, a pasture-based chicken, pork and lamb producer for our Wednesday drop sites. You may order directly from their website and pick up simultaneously with your Great Day Gardens order at all Wednesday pickup locations.

Will I be able to purchase additional items on-site at pickup?

We have a full selection for sale at the Lynchburg Community Market on Saturdays and at Rookie’s on Wednesdays. However, Boonsboro and Saturday Farm Market orders are pre-order only. You get the best selection by ordering online, which allows you to reserve items before we sell out!

What if I forget to pick up?

If it’s getting close to closing time and you have not showed, we will give you a call at the number you give at checkout. Orders for Boonsboro pickup must be picked up by the designated time and will not be refunded or available for pickup later.

For other locations, please contact us as soon as you realize you missed the pickup time. We can arrange a time for you to pick up your order at our home bakery in Forest. Customers who do not pay for “pay at pickup” orders or who fail to pick up unpaid orders and do not respond to communication will be banned from the online store.
