Big Things Just Around the Corner!
As Spring heats up, Swiss Chard looks the size of prehistoric palm fronds, tomatoes are forming in the greenhouse and our schedule is about to get a lot busier!
Don’t forget about Mom!
Our plant sale is coming up fast. With so many ways to spend the day with her, why should you stop by our farm? Various herbs, flowers, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables available. Take a $10 tour of the farm to see where your food is grown and harvested. Get to know your farmers in person! Receive a $10 voucher towards plants when you take the tour! Spend an afternoon outside on a beautiful day! The plant sale will occur from 11 am to 3 pm with the tour occurring at 1 pm!
Visit the events page on our website to sign up for this event and keep up with other happenings on the farm!
Farm Store Opens May 4
If you’ve been past the farm in the last few weeks, you may have noticed some updates to our farm store/bakery building including a new paint job and a new gravel drive to help customers exit safely onto Everett Rd.
Beginning next week (May 4), the farm store will be open three afternoons a week for walk-in sales! No more pacing the floor waiting for your Saturday market fix. You can shop for your favorite veggies, cheese, flowers and bread Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3-5 pm.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see Jan Garrett and JD Martin perform at the farm on Saturday! The original plan was to play in the barn, but it was just too nice a day to not be outside so we set up some tents and the event was a huge success! Big, big thanks to Blair Jones for organizing the concert and to Abbie for helping to get the space ready.
