Deep Roots Milling’s Silver AP Flour is a finely ground, sifted flour milled from a blend of “NuEast” and “Appalachian White” wheat, grown organically in Virginia.
This is a great introduction to stone-milled flour if you normally use white all-purpose flour. Silver is about 85% extraction, meaning 15% of the larger bran pieces have been removed from the flour, making lighter and easier-to-rise dough. Suitable for everything from biscuits, cookies and pie crust to tender and softer breads such as baguette or brioche.
