Summer Crops Comin’ but Some’r Here!
|Summer is Just Around the Corner|
We’re running out of room on the farm! With summer crops coming in hot, we are finding it hard to find new space, but we certainly aren’t complaining. Before we know it we will be up to our ears in tasty, refreshing, summer veggies. We are always being asked when to expect everyone’s favorites, and we are happy to say they are starting to produce or are very close!
A few things you can expect to see in the upcoming weeks at any of our three weekly markets are…
TOMATOES (and lots of ’em, we are growing over 800 plants!!)
Keep an eye on our newsletter or visit us in person to get them as soon as they pop up! For now, start stocking up on what is already producing including green beans, summer squash and cucumbers.

Bread Share: Miche
Literally “loaf” in French, Miche (pronounced “meesh”) is an extra large loaf of bread, typically made with some whole grains. Our version features flavorful whole spelt, whole wheat, and the addition of lots of rye make it keep well on the cutting board.A crusty unsliced loaf with a spongy interior. Slicing tip: cut the loaf in half first. Then place a half-loaf face down on the cutting board and slice from the crusty corner of the loaf downward.
Ingredients: Whole spelt flour, whole wheat flour, water, whole rye flour, sourdough starter, salt, malted barley.
